SOAR! of Washington County is an adult literacy program. The SOAR! of Washington County Fund was established in 2013 at the Washington County Community Foundation annual meeting. SOAR! was one of many non-profits that set up a booth at the Foundation annual meeting and garnered votes of attendees for the favorite booth/non-profit. At the end of the night, votes were tallied for the grand prize of a $20,000 endowment. The rest, as they say, is history. Now, SOAR! will receive funding on an annual basis as long as they are in existence.
